Unless an individual meeting point has been agreed upon, the tour guides will be waiting for you at the cross flower on the cathedral square, directly opposite the main entrance to Cologne Cathedral. Alternative meeting points can be arranged on request.

To round off the brewery tour, some of our customers like to linger at the last brewery to sample a hearty Cologne brewery dish. We are happy to arrange our tour accordingly and take care of the reservation for you. Please feel free to ask us about this!

Depending on the season, day of the week, and time of the brewery tour, it is unfortunately not always possible to find seating for the entire group in the brewery (except for reservations with food!). However, we have usually been able to find something between January and October.

To ensure that nothing stands in the way of the tour, please note the following information:

• Drunk guests are not permitted to take part in a brewery tour.
• The tour guide may terminate the tour at any time without compensation if guests are causing a disturbance due to alcohol consumption.
• The group size may not exceed 20 people.
• Due to the traditional location, brewery tours are not barrier-free.
• Photography and video recording are not permitted.

The city of Cologne is a very popular destination for domestic and international visitors, especially during the pre-Christmas period (November–December). Accordingly, the popular breweries are also very busy, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Communication can sometimes be challenging due to the noise. For brewery tours on Fridays and Saturdays, we recommend booking several weeks in advance! Nevertheless, it is always worth making an inquiry in accordance with Article 3 of the Cologne Basic Law!

For some time now, traditional bachelor party groups have no longer been allowed into Cologne’s breweries, so a tour in the usual uniform outfit is unfortunately not possible. Without conspicuous costumes, which also applies to identical T-shirts with prints, you are welcome guests and nothing stands in the way of a brewery tour!
